Nestled on 20 acres of back country in the Bristol Hills of Naples, New York right in the middle of the beautiful Finger Lakes. Another World Bed and Breakfast is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a special event.

Welcome to Another World Bed and Breakfast, a Boutique Inn set in the heart of Onterio County, just on the outskirts of the charming village of Naples, NY. Home to a five-room luxury bed and breakfast inn, Zen gardens, tranquil waterfall, beautiful, covered porch with a swing for two, a luxurious saltwater spa for up to eight and a rather large firepit for those chilly evenings surrounded by hand crafted Adirondack chairs built with comfort in mind.

Another World Bed and Breakfast’s three rooms and two suites, and guest have five different layouts to choose from. Some rooms/suites have fireplaces (eletric), some have jacuzzi tubs and or giant soaker tubs, all rooms have private bathrooms with showers. TV and sitting areas in all rooms.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Well, imagine sitting here relaxing with a lovely cup of tea or a sweet and fruity glass of sangria just watching the day pass.

There is something new at our B&B

An idea was born:  we need a firepit for the summer!  Thoughts were put into action.

The layout was designed and our guys – Dave and John – gathered rocks from the property. And then we all went to work.  With the help of our tractor, 4-wheeler, 3 human rock-carrying “machines” (John, Carol and Martina) as well as our supervising Dave (slightly handicapped due to injury), rocks were stacked to build the perfect circle.

Rocks, rocks and more rocks.  Oh, and we need some boulders to sit on …  oh, and we need the firewood.  The chainsaw was quickly activated and chop, chop, chop, the firewood was ready.

Who knew that by the end of the night we would sit with our guests around the fire cooking s’mores!

And fun was had by all.  The End.

Vintage, Vines & Valentines (or V3)

Grape Fest, Grape Fest, Grape Fest!

That is the talk of the town! While Naples holds its annual Grape Fest since 1961, this is our first year experiencing it and we are very excited already!  Just one more week, September 29-30 is the big Grape Fest weekend!

We heard that the whole town turns into festival grounds and this is what we learned so far:  2 days full of arts & crafts, music, food, wine and, of course, the famous grape pies.  There is even a grape pie contest!  It comes with awards, prizes and – probably even more important – bragging rights! Who will win this year?

The Memorial Town Hall is the epicenter of it all.  You’ll find the wine walk (yum, wine tasting anybody?), music, arts & crafts right around it.  Directly across is the High School.  Here are more artists and crafters and food, food and food trucks.

We sure hope for nice weather so that we can all enjoy the festivities.  Did I mention that we are excited?
